Over the years time changes us all….. sports evolve and friendships flourish. The story of “Ultimate Wrestler” is one of Ohio roots and growth. As childhood friends growing up in Pickerington, B.J. Doss and Tom Schwartz were friends, who became team mates, and men that became business partners. With the seed firmly planted during their time on the Pickerington Middle School and High School wrestling teams, the two had tasted success on the mat and their passion continued to grow in the sport for years to follow.

Tom went on to coach for Pickerington and stayed active in the sport for over 12 years. With two young boys of his own, Marcus and Jaron, the training has already begun and Tom plans to return to the mat once again and coach them on to victory.

As for B.J. he moved off to California and established himself as an entrepreneur with his own screenprint business where he flourished as a business man, husband and father to two girls, Presley and Payton. With the importance of family and fond memories of home, B.J. sold his business and moved back to Ohio. As the founder of Hollywood Imprints (one of the leading screenprint shops in the mid west), B.J. and Tom found a platform that allowed them to give back…. by supporting Pickerington’s athletic programs and particularly the wrestling team.

Supporting the team at local tournaments they found that kids needed a product that gave them a voice. The two decided to launch a brand of clothing that respects wrestling and honors it’s part in the foundation of MMA. They plan on marketing the brand to amateur wrestlers and MMA fans across America. In a sense, Ultimate Wrestler is a cross over brand born in “the heart of it all”. They will continue to support the local Ohio wrestling community, those who go on to fight in MMA events and those who just want to feel the passion from the sidelines.
